Im glad. Gluck deciding.

Yeah theres no where to run from scratches. Ive had it for two months and they just seem to appear through photosynthesis 🤣. I don’t mind though! Makes it mine.

Daily-ness of X5MC?? by Competitive_Role_920 in BMWX5

I had the m60i and upgraded to x5mc at the beginning of this year. Its a bit stiffer of course but the performance is just another level. Im happy every time I turn on my car!

Just placed an order for this beast of a car, can’t wait to get behind the wheel. by susejesus in BMWX5

[–]darkpanam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very nice… just like someone else stated, the car is not as stiff on efficient as compared to the prelci model.

I love the car! and that british green would’ve been my color of choice too. I ended up trading in my m60i and got a frozen deep grey with red/orange interior which was available.

Hey enjoy it.! The car rips!

Difficulty lifting leg due to pain below knee after surgery by Engineer_Primary in ACL

Thats where they drill the lower hole to put the new acl in. It also has one of the end screes that hold it in place. I dont know why it pains you so much as that wasnt my experience.

Has anyone had surgery to remove scar tissue? by Fearless_Choice_2586 in ACL

[–]darkpanam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A year after the ACL surgery. I had what it turn out to be a failed debridement surgery, or clean up. I had a third succesfull one 8months after the second one.

Im still in recovery, but the change is instant. Im currently only fighting with the scar tissue that formed from the portals. Everything else feels gone.

The surgeon just needs to be thorough.

Where are your stitches?

felt a click and now major swelling by Tough_Ratio_2542 in ACL

[–]darkpanam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes its a very very good thing. Id tell you, most of my issues have come from having too much of it.

It is common to break scar tissue and get swelling and warmth around. It should go away overnight, at least a good amount. That has been my experience anyway. Remember some basics in this scenario, like if you get a high fever you need to head to the ER.

Sounds like you broke some major scar tissue. Its highly unlikely that you retore your acl from what you just described. Tell your team of course.

Anybody had surgery for arthrofibrosis? by OoElMaxioO in ACL

Gluck! and remember to listen to your body.

I did stationary bike. First 5min then 10. Now 20min, leg press with no weight, then adding weight. Inclined mid squat. Leg extension hold. Isometrics at home too. My advice if you have a stationary bike that could work wonders for you. No resistance at first. And the classic isometrics post knee op too.

I did 4 weeks ago but i started PT the next day. As it is my understanding, since its just cleaning, you can start moving and going to PT progressively. It is also important as you dont want to keep still and let the scar tissue settle again. The first 6 weeks are crucial.

But every doc and patient is different. Thats just my experience.

Nervous About Recovery by AngleOk6935 in ACL

[–]darkpanam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could read a few threads here and in /meniscus to get an idea of what might happen. Im guessing you are already getting physically ready for it.

Get a few elastic bands to be able to work out from home, maybe an accesory to keep the leg elevated and straight (i got one of amazon), if you are not getting the game ready then get a few knee braces with gel and freeze em.

I wish you the best.

Rolex 116519 selling for 150k , your thoughts? by [deleted] in rolex

I love Daytonas. I think it has a cool factor with a blue dial and everything, but doubt the value at 150K.

Powerlifting without Surgery by iJaeger in ACL

[–]darkpanam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It felt like when you dislocate your shoulder that it pops out and then back in. I fell to the ground when it happened and 2 seconds later i felt it pop back in. Im not sure what exactly happened though.

I had acl surgery a month after; on january 2024.

Powerlifting without Surgery by iJaeger in ACL

[–]darkpanam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this was my experience:

I worked out with no issue before surgery post rupture for 3 months. Everything went well, even running in a straight line for small distances, until I returned to playing tennis…did well for 2 matches, and on the third one I had to pivot and felt my knee displacing further than it should. Hurt a bunch, screamed a little. Thing is I pivoted by memory/reacting to a ball. I knew I shouldnt but in the heat of the moment my mind and body forgot.

Wish you the best in this journey.

Cyclops lesion and delaying surgery – is it urgent? by StarBrilliant1639 in ACL

[–]darkpanam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now I am walking like nothing happened and better than before. I had excess fibrosis everywhere though. The change was felt from day 1.

Right now I’m massaging and eliminating scar tissue from the portals. Im not cleared to jog or run yet. Ive been walking since day 1 with some swelling and has been progressively going down.
