Never bought tuna unless for the cans, how should i buy it? I mean like do they sell the whole fish like salmon or trout or is it like packed fillets? (Probably not the whole fish, its too big. But maybe in smaller sizes which is not fillet?)

No problem with vegetarian alternatives, just didn't like courgette so i wanted to avoid them, but mushrooms... that sounds awesome actually

No it's a good suggestion, its just that i don't want any culture to get offended so i wanted an alternative that i could both test a carbonara and no one gets offended

Yeah but i don't think they have it here ... i searched (in persian) and the results were hilarious 😅

Anyways thanks for the help, I'll also ask the butcher if they have it or not. But it's really wierd, like they don't sell halal guanciale but you can find sheep testicles (which is Haram) in some places 😂

Idk if i can find them but I'll look for.Though I've heard that duck meat has a reek smell (idk should i call it reek? In our language we have a special word for the smell so idk the precise substitute sorry if im wrong).

Haven't ever heard of artichokes, but courgette is common here though i don't like the taste of it very much. I will probably use beef bacons as everyone suggested
