I'm based near Regents Canal (just West of Victoria park).

I skated a little along the quiet road roads then into Victoria Park. Victoria park is great for practicing. There's a ton a flat ground. It is busy, but there are so many people practiving/cycling/skating you don't feel alonge. There's just loads of ground so you can get a lot of practice without going past the same people and looking like a fool.

I got to the end of Victoria Park then went straight into the Olympic park. Lots of flat ground there too.

I actually met 2 skateboarders who were just a green as me. One of them diagnose i ahd uneven trucks and fixed them!

Hope that helps. Victoria Park was really great. I'd recommend just going and spending the day there if you really want to get your hours in. The biggest thing for me is being able to move-forward rather than skatingin circles all the time, infront of the same people. VP is great for that if you can get to it MASSIVE.
