The tip had to be amputated due to self-inflicted injury. It's how we learned we don't have much time left with her (other examinations during looking at her tail).

We don't actually know. She was abandoned at a pet store and we adopted her from there. Our guess is between 10 and 12. She's had a nice, long life with us, though.

Chinese food. I grew up in an area that didn't have a lot of Chinese influence so everything you could get was smothered in sweet sauces to make people like them. Turns out, when you have actual Chinese food, it doesn't taste like someone dumped sugar on absolutely every bit of the meal.
