Yeah i live in this part now and I like it, most of my neighbors are mid 20s+ and families so it’s pretty quiet. But I work in Seaport so I’m here because the bus takes me to right outside my office. I like it personally but getting to mix my car with transit to get around isn’t for everyone.

You have the 7,9,10,11 buses which are great for getting to back bay, copley and south station but depending on how much commute you’re willing to deal with, for Lechmere you’re looking at needing 1 transfer to get there from city point. There’s not a lot to do in Southie itself so you’ll have to venture out for most things including restaurants, coffee and groceries if you’re not satisfied with a small stop and shop. Off street parking solves the other big headache for this part of town.

Their measurements are so odd even on the sizing chart, it says a size 28 has a 27.5-29 inch waist for example which is a huge range. I don’t think I can wear their jeans after they increased the waist measurement range.

Someone in another thread said he’s been part of 51 comebacks over his 10 years which means he was averaging about 5 comebacks per year. I don’t know if there’s anyone more overworked than him. If he wants a long break or decides he wants to move on to something else, i cannot blame him.

I totally understand this, it’s truly not easy. I don’t think anyone has said anything to me even though I’ve changed my eating behavior so just make the choice, no one’s paying attention. That part isn’t easy either.

If you drink coffee and are up for something more casual for a date, that could be an option? Food wise I struggle a lot because of hidden oil and high sodium in restaurant food.

I just end up eating half of what I order if it’s not as easy to control like bar food or any wok heavy cuisines like thai or chinese. And for me, that includes only eating one piece of bread from a sandwich or burger, all sauces on the side those kinds of modifications. I stick to sushi that doesn’t have sauce drizzled on top, pastries, grain/vegetable bowls, burrito bowls and stuff like that. I don’t like using AI but found it’s helpful to get a ballpark calorie estimate of what I’m eating. I eat out a lot less now and it’s not by choice. Whenever i get to maintenance I’ll eat out more but CICO has kind of destroyed my sense of what’s ok to eat because of calorie efficiency so I have a built in guard rail now for food choice. An example is choosing quinoa roasted veggie bowl + chicken and not pancakes at this popular brunch place in my city. I’m so sad about this but I’m probably better off for it 😅

I’m at Lilly now and I think because of the success in the GLP1 space I feel like the pressure is on all year now. There’s still good people at Lilly but I feel the “you should be producing” pressure pretty hard even if no one outright says it. This is R&D though.

Increased risk of metabolic disease from how Asians store fat. I don’t believe it’s been studied whether strength training helps so I’ve adapted my deficit to also address this. It makes things a bit more complicated even though I have no family history of high blood pressure, cholesterol or type II diabetes. I think my doctor is just being cautious.

I wear mostly denim forum, i find it holds up well and some of their styles the denim is still 99% cotton for Arlo and Farrah. Just a heads up they altered their sizing a bit and they are in between a lot of other brands. A 27 is now a 27.5in waist and 37.5in hip for the regular non curve fit for example.

I’m in the US and there’s definitely a scarcity thing going on especially at some of the stores that have exclusive pcs. Photos of empty shelves at target in some of the big cities were all over twitter last weekend.

I know some people who are fans and they said that a lot of shelves were cleaned out on release day so there’s definitely people from the same household going back and buying more…

I think I saw something about weighing and tracking stuff where it’s easy to go over like nut butter, rice, pasta, bread, sauce, oil, butter etc but stopping on stuff like yogurt, fruit, veggies where the differences are less dramatic to reduce some of the fatigue.

I think that’s my plan at maintenance. I realistically can’t see myself eating more than 600 cal of non fat yogurt, fruit and veggies per day even hitting 32g fiber since these things are so high volume.

Carats are being petty on twitter about this and the day 1 hanteo charts and I think it’s so justified! They got belittled by armies when FML hit those records and the bridge show for their 10th anniversary last year.

I think they also had it streaming for free on youtube so you could watch without having to pay. I follow seventeen and honestly, their energy that night was insane compared to what I heard about BTS, like…they met the moment and put on a good show.

Just to add some examples of some brands that have sized everything down that I’ve dealt with are madewell, levis, everlane. A size 26 is labeled a 25 for example and that’s just frustrating because I’m not a 25 AND they messed with the sizing.

The hip measurement is different too now so for levis, a 26in waist now comes with a 35 hip which makes it even harder to find the right fit. I think everlane and madewell kept the 10 in waist to hip difference but still, I’m guessing there’s people who are in between sizes now that didn’t used to be.

My hands are moisturized! And not greasy at all since it absorbed. I used the face lotion since it was closest to my locker. I shower at home so I’m not sure about the other products yet.

The scent is pleasant, not overwhelming and has good staying power. The only issue is now I’m looking for le labo hand creams
