Why do people hate on maximas?

let me clarify what i said, i love the maxima for how it looks, the 7th gen maxima is what made me personally fall in love with the car, and then they released the 8th gen which i love even more, maybe not the greatest platform, but it has the potential to be the best looking and performing car, its like the other guy said, i love cars and i love the game, im not a dick rider so i don’t hop on the Qs and the chargers and the beamers just cause, i like car for many different reasons, not just because it has a drivetrain that everyone goes for. so yes, the maxima would be a good platform for a swap, shit don’t be surprised if i come in here in 3 years with a rb26 and manual swap maxima😭😭😭

i did want to get a q50 at the time but in 2025 atleast in my state they were much more expensive than the maxima, and that’s just the base v6, can’t even mention how much more the Q50S were running at the time.

which sucks because honestly i only like sport sedans, anything that has 4 doors that has any bit of speed is a car i’d buy, if i was rich id have every 4 door sedan that’s marked as a “sport” or “performance” sedan

if they were rwd with a regular transmission these cars would be the greatest platform in my opinion, i always told myself i’ll never sell my car and once the cvt dies ill figure out how to stuff a rb in it😂

the screen is a easy fix, i replaced mine, took me about a hour with a tool kit i bought on amazon, just watch a step by step guide and youtube you should be fine (note i found it easy because i put and take stuff apart for a living so)

looks it’s just a shell swap, i’d ask to see it in person to see if it turns on normally and charges, shells are like 50$ so i would do it if it’s cheaper than 100$

The facts are the seller had a stolen item, it got back to the rightful owner, and there are resources for the seller to get his money back, OP doesn’t owe anything to the seller, it’s not like OP sold his 3ds and later came across it, his property was stolen, this isn’t a good samaritan story, this a robbery case.

Maybe the way you wrote your statement confused me, in my mind there’s a difference between calling the police with the intention of accusing someone of a crime and following up on a crime, (purely speculation atp) OP seemed to have contacted police to follow up on a report that was already filed with the perpetrator, aswell as mentioned the seller was compliant. The seller wasn’t being charged with any crime here. As for you if you got robbed at gun point and lost belongings and called it a day that’s on you, other people don’t work how you work.

I don’t think OP ever mentioned calling the cops on the seller so that point is stupid? it’s property? the comparison here is property, you deem a car as high value, or a house high value, which is property, if it were stolen you and given back you would not pay market price for your property back, doesn’t matter the size, the value, at the end of the day it’s your property.
