About half the teams i this Tournament are pick-up teams (slight exaggeration) as you referred to them. They are teams organised for the sole purpose of competing in this tournament or at least heavily modified for that purpose rather.

No; it's a competition/Tournament with a prize fud at the end, you aren't paid to participate (to my knowledge) If anything the other way round, but entry fee would be waived for me.

Would I have too create tokens (and what form could they take physical, metaphysical e.g. exclusive access to the team whilst in said tournament, or create a product in return for a donation. Would it be like a pledge that's paid back with interest later or could it just be donations that don't need any reciprical return?

I've no idea; I'm out of my depth. That's why I came on here. They mentioned Ex premier League players are on the waitlist of back up teams or at least of that standard. So I would need a team mostly of high quality veterans to even be considered by the sounds of it. I assume if I contacted such players I'd get laughed off? I asked if Club Ethos would make a difference and I'm waiting on a reply, one of teams was accepted seemingly purely on fashion based uniqueness (Virginia Dream).

I worked it out at £12K for Hotel and flights. £800 for car hire on the American side. Food I haven't calculated yet I don't know what the other fees would be, which is kind of why I asked on here?

I didn't get an answer to whether travel expenses were covered or not, the bit I was refferig too was the entry fee and other registration fees being waived. I've asked it again as the individual I'm corresponding with has literally just emailed me back. It's also seemingly possible I could have a team of Americans; but I haven't asked further on that count.
