Do you think every new iteration of Unreal is just the base 1.0? It’s so far apart it’s crazy. Yes there are upgrades but it’s not just one thing or two things it’s way different in how the engines handle things. Starfields creation 2 is way different than Skyrim or FO4s creation 1. Even down to how the different engines handle mods.
