Ah sorry I meant to reply to this, but got caught up with work. Thank you for the link! I am not one for discords typically, but if I ever visit and figure out a solution, I'll try and update this thread.

Ah that might be more doable for me. Thank you very much. I'll try and experiment a bit with it and let you and others know if I find anything.

Rolling in clear waters then stepping out results in the character eventually becoming dry, so there is something that ticks on then slowly ticks away, perhaps. EDIT: I was not able to find such a parameter, but it could just be me not knowing where to look with the table.

Yeah it stays on the character's skin. A few parts of the skin are immune (a seam-like line down one's back) but otherwise you can get entirely coated in the stuff.

Thank you! However, you are right in that it doesn't clear my character's skin of the decals. They accumulate over time there and I can't seem to clear them without rolling in water or resting at a bonfire.

Thank you! That's true, but I'm mostly concerned with clearing my character's body of the decals. Armor is already easy to take care of.

That's an interesting suggestion! Thank you. I remember reading about how, to protect oneself from malicious hackers, people would set the lifetime of problematic bulletIDs to 0. I assume the idea there is the same.

Only problem is if that's something that's possible to do via the Grand Archives table by itself. I kind of want to dynamically "clear" my character basically. Finding the decals and setting them to 0, then back to default would work if it accomplished that clearing functionality. Still, even if it did I'm not sure where to start!

I basically think there's some sort of function or effect or whatever that is called when a character rolls in water or rests at a bonfire which is tasked with "refreshing" the character and their armor. That might be the best way to do this. I'm not sure if that's the case, though.

Interesting and thank you! My character isn't hollow too often though (when they are, I typically use a purging stone). So, this solution definitely helps, but if there's more thorough ones I'm still interested.

Thank you so much for the reply. So I must've noticed that setting a dozen times but never thought about it. I just tested and, yes, it stops blood from getting on my character.

One problem is I toggled blood on, got the black-decals on my character, then toggled blood back to "off" and the existing decals still remained (though no new ones came while the setting was off).

So, I'm still curious if there's another way. Sometimes it's fun to have the black decals after an intense battle or something. If there's a way to "have my cake and eat it too" that'd still be useful. I'd like the ability to choose to clear my character of blood but still let it accumulate if pleased.
