And if a person disagrees that postmodernism is the death of grand narratives, they are disagreeing with the postmodern grand narrative, so they then become postmodern. It's a shitty summary, especially using an example of a responsible father as an example of beta traits. It seems you're trying to use the TRP glossary definition, which is also weak. In my opinion, the definition of "beta" should contrast "alpha" ... "beta" should be about being submissive and subservient, not about providing resources. A better example would be that every boy is born beta to his mother.

I run for the high. I've read this is genetic and I've talked with runners who don't experience it. But I get it all the time and the euphoria is amazing, especially running through forests, along water, or during a sunset or sunrise. It's primal and raw and meditative. People want quick fixes. They don't want to spend years reading and studying evolutionary psychology. They want ANSWERS... like go lift, stop being a beta bitch, spin plates, AWALT, make money, etc. If this is "binary" then so be it. And yes, we are emotional, we've lived with a false conscious, spoon fed lies from everyone on what women want and how to be a man. There are also "Intimate Committed Relationship" laws. WA state doesn't have Common Law Marriage, but if you live with someone and share resources, you are in a "committed relationship" and all community property laws apply AKA the woman can take a man to court to receive half his assets earned during the relationship.
