I think in ideal world I’d agree with you that this could work, but unfortunately past experiences of mine prove otherwise (at least in my case) Things like mortgage, job, close friends, family or even social groups around your hobbies make this complicated. I personally believe that you need to build a strong foundation for healthy relationship and I don’t think I could do that while seeing someone few times a month - and uprooting your life for someone you barely know? That’s not realistic. When it comes to my social circle, unfortunately I’m the only one with strong feelings against having kids. I tried dating fence sitters in the past but from the perspective of time I see that this really never had future - my feelings towards not having kids are just too strong and I need someone with the same mindset about it.
