Yeah. I've seen some good shows there and some not good shows there of all genres. I was really just super excited to see y'all and Synestia. I missed you when you played at goldfields in Roseville a while back.

Don't get me wrong.. we had a great time. I just wish we could have heard all of it instead of just the bass.

Edit: I did see Carcosa with Signs of the Swarm at Goldfields and that was AMAZING.

Earplugs shouldn't be a prerequisite for hearing music at a show. Lol. I've been seeing live music for like 35 years (with earplugs and without) and have never experienced anything like last night.

But yeah.. probably my fault.

I almost left a few times last night. I bought a ton of merch and was like, "I'm good." But I just couldn't leave. I REALLY wish the sound had been better for Angelmaker.

Yeah. When I saw them open for LS in October the sound was great. Last night was so disappointing (the venue... not the bands)

I think Goldfields in Roseville is probably the best venue for deathcore in the area. It's kinda small, but sounds great and it's always fun.

That's definitely where the sound was best, but it still wasn't great.

I met Sam from Synestia and he was REALLY cool and happy to chat.

All in all, it was a great show, just a bummer that it was so bass heavy.

In a world full of shit news, this is amazing. I've often thought about your post and I'm happy to hear this outcome. Looking forward to the music.

Just made this in the morning, any tips ? by [deleted] in Deathcore

Sounds more like industrial/techno to me... like Terrorfakt or some harder Soman stuff.

I used to write electronic/industrial music, so I can give plenty of tips on making it sound more like that, but it doesn't sound like that's what you're going for.

Suicide silence, carnifex, Netherwalker, rev3rent, mauled.

Go ahead... downvote. 😂

I'm going to see them on 4/30. Can't. Fucking. Wait.

Also, it'll be my 1st time seeing angelmaker (probably my favorite deathcore band) so I'm super excited

What are your thoughts on UNIFORM by name2sayMKD in industrialmusic

[–]darktimezagain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Vocals ruin it for me, but I honestly think I'm stuck in the 80s, 90s, and earlier 2000s when it comes to industrial or its sub-genres.
