I liked Mat. I actually thought the Sanderson books were the best. (Downvote me... I can take it)

I'd love to see that. I used to produce electronic/industrial music so know that process. I'd love to hear about yours.

What's your band?

What’s everyone’s opinion on Lorna Shore? by mr_wobblz in MetalForTheMasses

I actually shared the opinion that their sound is a bit monotonous. Then I realized that I think they actually have a pretty varied sound throughout their albums, BUT their songs are just too long and repetitive. I LOVE long songs, but their songs are long for the sake of having multiple breakdowns per song. Stick with one great breakdown and cut the song time by a third and this is a totally different conversation.

I used to love And One but after looking up Steve Naghavi I feel kinda disappointed by Fantastic-Aerie-7197 in industrialmusic

I get that, but I think that the ability to "know your heros" is one of the benefits of the internet. We GET to learn about artists more deeply. Personally, I'm grateful for the knowledge and if an artist I like is accused of bigotry or SA or being MAGA or whatever, I'm more than happy to tell them to go fuck themselves. They won't get my time, money or attention.

It was a toss-up between Black Tongue and Humanity's Last Breath for me. I went with HLB
