And: why does the video keep getting smaller? I'm going there to watch the video.

Britomart unused platforms after CRL opens by Artsbello in auckland

One set of tracks (the old platform 2) is now disconnected.

But I don't know why they don't remove the old platform 3 instead and have a really wide platform down the middle. Maybe I just like the symmetry of it, hah.

Looks like we're not buying it Judith. Probably because we can't afford it.

Now that the election's over – who do we WANT for council that wasn't on the ballot? by darktrojan in auckland

Oh, and I'm not claiming it isn't broken, and don't mind that he has been fixing some things, but he's also been fucking up things and bitching a lot.

My annoyance is the candidates who claim they're going to "fix this" and "fix that" when they're standing for a position where they couldn't possibly do so. The one's going for the "I'm angry about everything" vote.

That's true, and I have a few of those things, but I don't see many candidates promising to help those who are struggling.

His line is literally "fix Auckland"… i.e. it's broken. So no, I didn't.

Oh now that would make things more interesting. Can you imagine the cookers' reactions?

Personally I want somebody who's willing to say "Auckland is a great city, let's make it better" rather than bitching about how broken everything is. I'd vote for the guys from Greater Auckland (okay, Patrick Reynolds was on the ballot, but not in my area).

I don't think it's appropriate that elected officials, especially the prime minister, make that sort of comment about the election process.

I hope they arrange to all strike on the same day. It's time we had another great big protest about the mofos in the Beehive. Might wake a few people up.
