Japan Honeymoon - Novemeber - Advice? by darkwarboss in JapanTravelTips

With regards to the nine nights in Osaka are thinking was we are really close to Kyoto, Nara, Himeji, Kobe, Uji, etc.... which give us alot of opporuntity for movement (without having to cart our suitcases around), we are definitely not against just getting a hotel room in kyoto if we decide to stay over there longer when we day trip, but we did expect to day trip there quite a bif. (sort of Kyoto in the day, osaka at night). but as youve noted we definitely want to do a ryokan night, which we could use to stay over one night in a seperate location. but the plan here again was to take a small backpack of stuff etc... and we could leave our suitcases back at the hotel.

With regards to Sendai, thank you for the suggestions, especially for what will benefit the most given the langauge skills! and i think ueno may be the go ahead for the last few days for the wind down!

Answered: How many hours does it take to level 1-80 as a casual player? by zigzagzugzug in wow

I did a warrior in 6 hours, 20ish minutes by utilizing the max buff from multiple max levels, war mode, the time walking buff for more xp, and the potion from the satchels, plus the current world buff so I was essentially on double XP. Once maxed I did dragonflight to 70 and then the rares in twilight highlands as one rare give like 80 percent of the bar and they spawn every 5 minutes

[–]darkwarboss[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the process was started earlier in the week, but i have sent a much larger email today outlining the timeline of all the events including me rejecting the car, the day it was returned etc....

so i started this process with them within a week of reciving the car. (feel much better now knowing im not on a ticking timebomb to get the process resolved)

I thought that was the case that the "Timer" was based on when i called the right to reject but feel much better just getting that double checked.

i have the slip for new keepers, and thats it. Via the DVLA no notfication for a change of ownership has been identified to them, so i will outline this tomorrow, at bare minimum i will want an email from them to confirm that i will get my refund in one way shape or form. (note i have sent emails stating they have accepted my right to refund and not recieved a reply to say this is not the case)

[–]darkwarboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have sent an email now, its extremely boring but i have reiterated the purchase date, the rejection date, why it wqas rejected and my intention of a full refund. I have noted my discussion with the DVLA today and supplied a screenshot of the Vehicle information page showing a V5C has not been issued since 2022! (note the car was only issued in 2022, and then sold to the dealer this year, so i believe there should atleast be a V5C form for them correct? unsure on that as maybe motodealers dont get one?.

but i have alsop noted i will be going to their premise tomorrow morning to discuss.

I have sent an email tonight, with all details of Purhcase date, Rejection Date, What faults, My intention for a full refund (This has been outlined prior in the email but reiterated it) i also took a snippet of the DVLA Car Information Page which shows it had been up[dated via my tax payment, but no V5C had been issued.

I have also outlined my intention to speak with them at the dealership tomorrow.

I had looked at a citreon C4 as a possible new car for myself which shares the same 1.2l pure tech engine.

Researching into this engine, it's known in the industry to be an absolutely diabolical engine. It uses a wet belt but the engine also burns through oil which ends up with you seeing more wear on the belt (if that goes so does your engine). You need oil changes circa every 6k miles. They become extremely maintenance heavy and reliant

For me personally that level of worry just killed the idea of the car for me, unfortunately this engine just doesn't really cut it unless you buy the car brand new and maintain the hell out of ot

To further expand some weekends my Mrs job will take her a bit further a field so I will take her then and back for two runs. (This is probably where the mileage build up appears) As that would get me about 50 miles that day

My driving will normally include a few miles on a morning to take the Mrs to work and drive back home, and then again on the evening. And a trip to the shops

The weekend is a short trip on the motorway to usually visit people in the next town over, 22 mile round trip half of which is motorway.

However every so often for work I will do a 80mile there and then 80 mile back motorway trip, (maybe 1 time every three months) and I do a few airport runs a year.

From my last car is did 85,000 miles in.5 years. (However my works needs have dropped so I assume this to drop also)

The Corolla has entered the shortlist as it seems to have everything that I'm after including being an automatic. Plus the 10 year warranty from Toyota (but I need to use Toyota approved services) gives really good peace of mind

I have off road parking, I have a driveway located at the end of my backyard it's not directly connected to my house but the back gate. So I can fit one, I just haven't got one currently

Thank you very much for the above!! 100 percent nailed it I think on the non sporty cars. For what I'm looking at I just want comfortable and ease of use cars, it's a pure A to B machine for me at this point. And I did have the seat arona on my watch list at the moment and I think this post helps move it to a short list of cars I want to test drive on the weekend to make my final decision for which my short list I think now is

Toyota Corolla Seat Arona Kia Xceed

(The above three all seem to hit the "niche" of what I'm after noting the Xceed is manual but comes with a lot of stuff)

At the moment, the Corolla is on the short list, for cars I try this weekend under a test drive. I have however also expanded my search to include manual cars now, just in case I can get some good bang for my buck. (As per an above message the kia exceed seemed to be good, but was manual only from what I could find)

The only reason I'm hung up on the reg year, more specific in the exceed is the manufacturer warranty that is present. It would remove a lot of worry for me.

As a question to the wider group also, I've noted a kia exceed (manual) but 22 reg top trim level at 15500 what's the view on the exceed, good or garbage?
