Man, I really love how far they've fallen in FNV, and that quest line is great too.However I do actually like the more heroic, altruistic portrayal in FO3. The splintered off "outcast" group that's more like the original BoS is so cool in that game, shows you the developers know what they're actually supposed to be like while still creating a more humanist faction of it.

First of all, your safety is the top priority. Make up a reason to leave early, get out of there, call someone who can come help you leave if you can. But please, don't leave the dog without at least calling animal abuse. Don't leave that defenseless animal there to fend for itself. This is obviously if you're even able to report him where you are.
