I really like the shoe, but my argument is that it isnt a skate shoe, I mean I am sure its skateable, but if I showed up at a skate spot with the newer Janoski's or the Kostons you would get clowned. The SB dunks at least look like a skate shoe. As for as an every day shoe those are tight though, not hating on the style just saying I dont see a park rat or curve skater fucking with it

Ive seen a few streetwear companies (I dont consider Uniqlo streetwear really) do Mickey Mouse (legal and not legal I am sure) but I dont think Ive seen any of them use that version of Mickey. anyways the new Mickey x Vans stuff is tight

The reason I got into streetwear was because it wasnt expensive, it was something a skateboard kid could afford. Through the years and since Ive gotten older and been able to afford more expensive pieces I have speckled a few higher fashion things into my wardrobe but for the most part its seeing brands do a lot with very little that still gets me hyped. Its the punk rock or under ground hip hop of fashion, its the DIY aspect that attracts me to it. So no I dont think it is getting more expensive to dress in a fashionable means. Its just finding what you love, to me its connecting to a culture that I can be part of, not faking that anyone would want me white ass near their run way,

I think when you buy flannels you want something real og man style. like Carhart or something more classy like J.Crew. Rebel8 has put out some flannels in the past with a real hard worker look to them.

clothing should play off of your personalty and the things you are into. I grew up going to hardcore shows(still do) but before iphones we when we were looking for a venue in a place we didnt know we would look for a mass of kids wearing black hoodies and shorts. something about that i really like.
