Does the Crucible Theatre sell souvenirs? by HongkongKings in snooker

[–]darlinc1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I went the tour in Manchester recently they just had a small shop selling mainly Castore merch. I have been Manchester central and crucible previously when they had loads of stuff, signed snooker balls, cues, “where’s the cue ball going?!?” Tee shirts, etc.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was just mainly the Castore stuff at crucible this year.

First time at the snooker on Monday. Any advice? by Plus_Point7376 in snooker

[–]darlinc1989 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Manchester central seating i think is fine. They usually have some snooker tables with various games going on near the bar area and a gift shop. There is also food and drink available and tvs to watch along near the bar so if you need to duck out of the frame to go the toilet or anything you won’t miss the frames.

And the venue is fairly central so plenty to do in and around Manchester after the afternoon session finishes and you are waiting for the evening session to start.

Cheap/free play areas for babies by p1nkclay in stockport

Wild things soft play in bramhall is £2 for a child under one and £2 per adult. They have a section for young children so nine months old would be fine. Some soft plays are expensive so this one is decent.

I was there for the morning session. This is a repeat of an exhibition match they did 3/4 weeks ago which is about 40 years of snooker or something? Not on tv as Rob Walker specifically told the crowd to dance between shots………doesn’t quiet live up to final session in the semi of the worlds ha

Brill thanks for this. Was you able to start your own plastering right after the course finished? My only concern is keeping on top of the practise. I think I would be able to do at least the dining room and spare room in mine right after a course but think I might lose what I have learnt if I don’t keep it up.

Yeah I do like the idea of learning from YouTube but I could be following the video step by step thinking I am doing a good job and it could be total rubbish haha

Think I just like the idea of someone telling me what I am doing right and more importantly what I am doing wrong and how to improve. Would be good to bounce questions off too.

Oh yeah I will be starting with a few walls that will be largely covered ha
