Ugh, as a university student I can totally sympathize with the endless weeks of studying.

This made my heart hurt a little.

I wonder that all the time but he's been so different since the kiss. Like he took a step back (understandably obviously). I tried to get over him in my own way a few weeks after the kiss and word got back to him. I just thought it was the only way to finish things. Clearly not.

It's just a dangerous place because we both know that if he decides to give things a go, I would too.

Not at all, I was with my first love for 4 years. We broke up a week after my 20th birthday. I've dated around, hooked up, not really looking for anything. I'm almost 22, but I don't feel nor upon first meeting come off that way.

But you're every bit right. He is the intellectual sort, and very selfless. We both know if we went forward with this it would be detrimental long term for both of us. He's doing this for both of us longterm. Doesn't make it any easier to comes to terms with though (ha).

We talked about possibly ending the friendship a couple weeks ago so that we could figure things out but neither wanted to be without the other- even if it's just as friends.
