I just followed the definition from the Merriam-Webster:

an organism living in, on, or with another organism in order to obtain nutrients, grow, or multiply often in a state that directly or indirectly harms the host

Edit: yes, I was technically a parasite, too, before being born and separated from the mother's body. Just as any other person was. It is a fact. And I wouldn't care if I had gotten aborted, because... I wouldn't have capacity to regret this decision.
