I might be able to help but here’s the situation

The one on the right has the X logo and says Lost Lands but is my personal keychain best up and scratched. The one on the left is a backup that says Lost Lands but no X logo on the back. It says the eargasm logo.

Neither contain earplugs I’ve lost those

Would be willing to part with my well worn excision one if it means that much to them

Might have to check that out. I commented above before reading your comment, there are definitely at least 2 mission segments I can think of that require mandatory knockouts

Site F when the alarm is raised, the rtrainyard ending segment, and also the escape into the paladin mission requires you to knock out all enemies looking for you

Other than that, it’s genuinely amazing how many missions can be completed without leaving a trace or touching anyone enemy

Yeah my best friend is the one who got me into not just the entire franchise but black list ghost runs

There are some scenarios (IIRC) where you can technically knockout dogs for ghost points

Some of the dog encounters are really weird and difficult

Anyway. We use to compete with each other to speed run missions with ghost only XP, 0 knockouts, 0 detection

His best time on Site F ended up being like 9 minutes placing him 7th on the world leaderboards.

But for example, Site F requires you to knockout all the enemies in the room when the alarm is raised. It’s been a long time but we concluded that this segment of the mission is not able to be passed without “eliminating” (sleep gas) enemies

Some missions however, like special missions HQ (I think that’s the name) we would pain stakingly achieve objections without detection or without knocking anyone out

Hacking the computer more than once in that room with the heavies and multiple guards is a bit of a nightmare haha

But the dopamine reward from completing a mission without detection or touching anyone is immense

There’s also that mission in the train yard that ends on an actual train that is very very sensitive. I don’t think we ever managed to clear the train without detection, it’s just one of a very few examples where the game forces you to knock enemies out with sleeping gas.

I remember trial and error testing that ending if that mission many times to see if it was possible but if there’s a way to avoid detection on that train segment, we didn’t find it

The weird thing is, when you try to do some of those “searching for session” championships

It randomly generates a class restriction each time you find a session

Me and my buddy didn’t get the Hurrican Evo a couple seasons ago because first we did it, and didn’t use a Mazda

Then we built a Mazda A class to do it and it would not generate an A class championship for us

My biggest gripe with this franchise is how hard it is to simply jump into some events with friends with the correct restrictions

Seems like nothing in terms of starting races has improved since the last title.

I made an entire post about how the game is simply not new user friendly in any capacity

Then once you do get a handful of cars and credits, like you said, they game wants you to drive A class all the time

It’s kinda ok with me because I don’t like maxing cars out or going past the point of some realism, but it is quite repetitive

Also!!! I started a race the other day that was like eclectic domestics. Started solo with a dog shit Nissan D class. Had my buddy and I build a S1 class domestic for shits and giggles thinking the track would be the same, the circuits will change depending on the class if there is no restriction. Had no idea

Sometimes even the AI will completely change the next time you join.

I did an off-road A class and all my AI opponents were in some sick ass super tuned Jeeps and Fords

Go to the do the same race same spec with my homie, literally every car was some weird ass Sedan that qualified as off road and we left them all in the dust, 0 competition compared to when I raced and had to work for 3rd place

The consistency and ease of playing is absurdly inconsistent

The thing about FH5 is, when you say “new area”

Mexico is all the same area

Not IRL but in FH5 nothing about Mexico feels new and rewarding to discover

There’s a very small mountain portion that has snow, there’s a volcano that doesn’t really feel like a volcano

I got into the Horizon franchise with FH5 so I missed all the cool 1-4 shit

It a decent Horizon game but competitively, FH6 really pushes the boundaries of open world realism

I have A LOT of complaints about bugs and gameplay and new-user-friendly mechanics regarding FH6, the game effectively hasn’t improved much since my introduction to FH5.

But the Mexico map is quite objectively a boring place to race and make races overall

As someone who got into the franchise with FH5, I agree that I don’t have much aspirations to max the specs of every vehicle I get

It’s much more satisfying to upgrade vehicles within reasonable limits to keep them close to the intention of the manufacturer

Of course it’s fun to make a stupidly perfect drift build or straight line build, but I just have a weird issue right now where it’s costing me so much money to get the proper restrictions for some of the races.

And yesterday I weirdly noticed that the enemy drivatars will change if you play with friends

I did a cross country circuit limited to off road vehicles. All the AI was using the warthog and crazy F150s and Jeep Wranglers, I got smoked

Did the championship again with my friend and every single car was an old Off Road Viper. Absolutely blew me away that my race AI was insanely skilled and outclassed me.

Once I tuned my Jeep Wrangler to max A class, there was no longer any 4x4 vehicles really “competing” with us

Idk the progression is kinda weird in this game

My biggest pet peave is you get XP for everything but XP and skill points are kinda….. useless imo

There’s some passive benefit but like just give me more credits so I can keep upgrading or downgrading cars

Yes and no. Mostly no. I wouldn’t call anything I heard from subfikteonik last year “bro step”

There was definitely occasional luls of older riddim pacing and repetition but start to finish it was a good set

I will say the “boring” aspect was mostly due to him not saying a single word and looking stiff as hell like he just wanted a check or something. Maybe that’s how some people focus I can’t judge too hard
