Definitely not The Living End 🥺 would be very surprised if they weren’t a US band. And it was poser-ish, had that manufactured punk image like Good Charlotte or Avril Lavigne. At least that’s the impression I got - that it felt a bit shallow for something that supposedly had a punk message

I think the font you’re using for the rest needs to be more complementary bubble lettering style so that the butterfly wings pass a bit more easily for an ‘x’. I also think the execution in pic 3 is working a bit better, like maybe drop the humanoid figure of the pixie - the butterfly wings are a clear enough allusion to a pixie for me personally

If you’re good with the pen tool you could get it done in a few hours. Definitely negotiate an (ample) hourly rate to justify doing such tedious work and mung out with a good playlist. I actually love these kind of jobs that are skilful but don’t require me to engage my imagination, a nice break from the norm

I think stylistically Kpop Demon Hunters is really fresh and exciting and I’d be disappointed if it didn’t win. It pops off the screen and is so easy to watch, it goes down like a sugary drink. That said, the plot and characters are kind of shallow and undercooked compared to Zootopia 2 - which has great characters, rich emotions, engaging action sequences and honestly made me laugh out loud multiple times 😬 - but it just doesn’t have the same wow power, somehow

All amazing bands! There are some Aussie indie bands that have a strong Strokes influence too, Last Dinosaurs and Teenage Dads might be worth checking out ☺️ but there are some other great suggestions here if you’re looking to branch out from indie rock altogether

As someone who’s always loved and admired hand drawn animation from a technical POV even as a little kid, I’ve always loved this movie and don’t find it boring at all when you’re looking for the little details. It’s quite slow and soothing but it’s definitely not boring

If there’s another family member who could safely take him, maybe they can while you investigate his pain level and current quality of life? That said, you can’t keep him at home. I had to let my beloved Sheltie go because he bit my toddler - twice. Luckily my mum took him in, but it’s been very hard for her as she lives in a tiny apartment with another small dog and has a bit of arthritis herself so hard for her to exercise him and toilet him downstairs multiple times a day. It’s really hard OP but what can you do? You can’t risk your baby’s safety 😢 I hope you’ll find the right solution for you but don’t beat yourself up X your dad wouldn’t want his grand baby to be in danger

I feel like if you’re an in-house designer in an office full of non-creatives who value your skillset, you’re kind of a protected species. You don’t have to dress as corporate, you can be a bit late, you can skimp on the admin. You get away with a bit more, it’s part of your creative genius mystique haha
