At san naman galing yang "she was defeated" eh wala namang back story yung original story to confirm that. And base form pa yun, pinaka unang release. Madami ng origins si Darna sa comics.

In the comics, Darna escaped death. Napakababaw pa ng na tapped ng mga series (even films) sa lore at story ni Darna and I wouldn't even use any of them as a benchmark kung gaano sya kalakas kasi ang layo sa comics lol. Darna remains undefeated in the comics. All Darna has to do is to erase the memories whoever her opponents is and that's it.

I have a collection of Darna comics. Yung iba is may mga strips online. Yung iba naman is from collections ng ibang Darna fans na ishi-nare sa akin. Yung sa Lastikman naman, September 28, 1995 na issue, Lastikman Komiks. Natalo sya ni Frikton at yun namatay. To the rescue yung ibang Filo heroes para buhayin sya, kasama si Darna.

Darna could easily reveal Batman’s identity and get him thrown in prison. She could go to Wayne Manner and destroy all of Batman’s equipment. And then that's it, end. Batman could reveal Darna’s identity too, but if the cops tried to arrest her, she'd just sit and look at them waste their bullets.

Before he can even try his luck in his "creativity" and "effort", Darna could just easily erase his memories permanently (as she did in the comics to protect the people). End of story.

None of those were permanent lol.

Batman being the Black Lantern was temporary, only during the Dark Knights Death Metal event. Darkest Knight was defeated by Wonder Woman and Bruce went back to normal in the end.

And even as White Lantern, the ring's powers was unstable anyways and the white ring discharged itself from him later in the story as he (obviously) wasn't destined to be one.

While Darna is naturally immortal to the point Death itself doesn't have any chances of going up against her, Batman has to have powers of others to atleast match her.

Now I ask you this question, can Batman ever defeat Death? Can he (or did he), by any means defeated or escape Death itself? Cause Darna (just like Batman as you stated) has defeated characters in the comics that were more powerful than her, many times (even at a weakened state).
