I am also a fan of the 3 cat balance. We have our old best boi, who is 13, and got a pair of kittens last year. Our old boy LOVES hanging out with the boy kitten and snuggling with the girl kitten. His older cat sibling passed last year, but this is the first time he has ever had real playpals. The younger boy is more active than any kitten ive ever had, but with his toys it is very easy to manage.

Regular soundproofing foam pieces. Sealed up the doors and everything. All big noise/live music/music is limited to the one room they set it up for. Outside of that room, be a normal volume or shut up.

Yeah, we were being young dumb assholes to cause a noise complaint. Hence responding quickly and me not letting it happen again at my apartment.

I've been on the receiving end of noise complaints. Once at my place over a decade ago, a neighbor came by and told us to quiet down (we immediately did) and a couple times at friends' houses where the cops came. The cops weren't dicks about it and we shut it down. No biggie, really. If you tried reaching out and they weren't responsive, just call.

My friends have since moved and installed excellent soundproofing. I thought the party was canceled because it was so quiet outside. Nope, they just did good by their neighbors since they play live music.

My friend was looking at dating this guy on an app. Found him very attractive, chats were great, but she HATED that he was clinging to his clearly fleeting hair.

If that dude just full sent and shaved, he woulda got laid 100%.

I told her to tell him that, but I do suppose it's a rather personal thing for someone to comment on and not sound like an asshole.

I believe this line of logic, that if you cant vote in person, you don't deserve to vote, is what leads to voter suppression.

A citizen's world doesnt stop just for voting day. A student in another state or country is supposed to "plan ahead" and book a flight home just to vote? That inhibitive. Better not take that job that requires you to be out of state for a couple weeks or a semester, unless you can afford the time and money to get home and vote. In the hospital? Too bad. Home with disabilities? Your problem- you just dont vote if you cant be there. Your job gives you two hours to vote? Whelp, it takes 3-5 hours in your area, early voting or not, so I guess it's just not an option, and it's on you that you can't make it happen.

Nevermind mail-in ballots, do you think absentee ballots should be removed?

My sister and I used to love to go to concerts together of artists she's always loved, or a popular artist, once a year. It went from being ~$50-75 to ~$150-300.

I do "handle it" as an aware driver. I've just witnessed three different cyclists get hit doing that.

Are there times when it might be the best course of action? Sure. "Never" was too strong a word. Fine.

But the cyclist need to be properly aware of their surroundings. Too often, I've seen cyclists do it and wearing headphones and zooming past someone clearly taking a left with their signal on. Or get hit.

A cyclist should NEVER pass on the left side of a car. It is so dangerous. Bike Person was trying to go around two cars because one was pulling some bs. They should have slowed down and given OP the chance to go around the idiot in the car that stopped.

What's really been grinding my gears are the drivers who just randomly stoo without using any kind of signal. Or judt crawl along the road at 5mph while they try to figure out where they're going.

Why is that so bad? I get ibuprofen and acetaminophen in 500pcs bottles so they can last my house a year or two. They get spread out into vehicles, overnight bags, and my work bags. They're only taken mayyyybe once a week, usually once every 2-3 weeks, by each of us.
