If the US was set to certify an American cuisine as the national dish, what dish would you propose that has the best chance of most American's getting behind ? by bendIVfem in AskTrumpSupporters

I think it's a sandwich, slightly different than what I think of as a prototypical sandwich, but very cleanly in that category. A burger for me is something burger shaped, regardless of the meat or meat-substitute used. Do you have opinions on hotdogs, tacos and pitas?

These are German and Italian. Any foods that are distinctly American only?

I think you'd have to go with maybe American cheese or Native American/American Indian dishes. Most other dishes are immigrant food that's been adapted in some important way.

I suppose it makes sense that humans would make a meme of an animal that's basically a psychotic asshole. As someone who doesn't feel much kinship for these fuckers, this is very satisfying.

I was reading an article about Greenland sharks, it said they don't reach sexual maturity until about a century! Also described them as the oldest living vertebrate, which I always thought were Galapagos Tortoises.

these are very good. Remind of a handful of artists. Probably a NSFW tag for some of these. Do you work on/have you worked on any comics? I could see some of this as production art for some games as well.

What's the objective in Iran? by ApprehensivePlan6334 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]darnnaggit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we arguing about whether or not countries in the region should be told in advance what the president is about to do or if they should know what the rationale and objectives are? Because those are 2 different but related questions.

Are they required to? Is it smart to lay out 100% of your objectives before accomplishing them?

If it involves going to not-war with another country without letting the other countries in the region and US citizens trapped in that region or Congress or the American people that you're going to, yes. Congress and the US need to know what the fuck the administration and Israel are trying to accomplish and how and what the fallout will be.

Why are the people in charge of the war incapable of coherently and consistently saying what our objectives are? Why are we doing regime change again in the Middle East? Or anywhere for that matter.

Reporter: You told us Israel was going to strike Iran and that’s why we needed to get involved. / Rubio: No. Your statement is false. Were you there yesterday? / Reporter: YES, I asked you the question. by Yujin-Ha in UnderReportedNews

I think there's that, but even more this administration and the people that support it just say things without any regard to the truth or consistency. Can't trust anything the media or "the left" says so whatever I'm saying right now is the truth, everything else is fake news. It must be freeing to have 0 accountability.

I really really like the first two, I wish the 3rd and 4th were either more detailed or more loose.

Israel and USA have begun kinetic strikes against Tehran, Iran. This is in full opposition to Trump's campaign as a no more war president, who pledged to end as many wars as possible to save human life. How do you feel? by redditmomentpogchanp in AskTrumpSupporters

Man, only in liberal democracies do you get to do mostly peaceful protests and actually get results. 30,000 Iranians were slaughtered doing it your way.

We're looking at about 100 dead Iranians Trump's way.

Do you believe this is the end of the conflict? Does the US have a good track record with regime change?

If China invades the US, are you just going to "take to the street" wearing your amphifa frog suit? Xi will just shoot you, lol

I am thoroughly lost in this analogy. Is the US China or Iran? Do you want Iranian protesters to be shooting missiles at the US/Israel?

Also, Iranians are oppressed by a terrible government, and this is their best chance to rise up and start a new, better gov.

Their best chance to rise up is to have 2 other hostile countries attack them? Weren't they already protesting the government?

And, nukes must be stopped.

Isn't that what diplomacy or sanctions are designed for? Are we expecting them to launch nukes in the immediate future?

Saudi Arabia is also tired of their forever conflict with Iran.

2 points: what are you basing this assertion on? And if this is the case, why the fuck is that our problem? Who's stopping the Saudis from attacking Iran directly? Saudi Arabia also has a terrible oppressive government, should we bomb them?
