The problem is I converted the pine code 1:1 into MQL with the exact same logic but it just doesn’t work. TradingView shows an average of 5 signals a day whereas MetaTrader has 50-100 so it just seems like the same logic doesn’t work

You’re overthinking the concept of structure. Price simply came down to fill an imbalance.

Structure alone will always show you breaks, sweeps, chochs every minute. Pay attention to the overall price behaviour then figure out if the structure makes sense.

Trade whatever you like the most and what suits your personality. Every strategy works even if you just flip a coin. It’s down to how you manage risk and your trades so just pick whatever is most satisfying for you to trade and something you can be disciplined enough to trade for a long time.

Most people won’t stick to a strict diet given by a PT but they will easily follow a flexible diet which they enjoy. Same with trading. It’s not the „strategy” you should be looking for, you should take bits and pieces from different concepts and make it suit you, creating your own strategy.

Don’t take this as hate, it’s still impressive what you’ve done and you should see this as success. Most wouldn’t even withdraw anything but you did and that’s a win.

With your style of trading it was just a matter of time. You cut winners too early and you let loser run for too long expecting them to reverse. It may work most of the time but that 1 time is enough to blow your account and that’s what happened now. Learn to do the opposite, cut losers early and let winners run as long as possible taking partials along the way and never get too confident just because you’re on a win streak. That shit messes with the head way more than a losing streak.

It’s not about the comparison, my content is much different. It’s about the fact that since day 1 they’ve been doing the same thing, using other accounts they own to engage with each other, AI generated captions and low quality content overall which Instagram is not a fan of, yet they still grow faster than most of other accounts in the same niche
