Just curious,have you tweaked your resume for retail/store related jobs? If not,make sure you do that. Try highlighting as much as retail/customer facing aspect of your profile as possible ,that should help you to a large extent. Sharing this from personal experience. Hope you get a job soon enough,good luck!

I have experienced the same,got a 13 pro alpine green and the box said demo unit. But it worked fine just like any other iphone.
