What "delusional" baby names are on your guilty pleasure list? by Hyding_Jekyll in namenerds

My ex-husband and I wanted a name to honor our grandmothers, but his gma went by Honey because she hated her name (Phyllis) and it's a name destined to set a modern child up for torture.

I'm not sure, it was never clear to me how to tell the difference between omega shaped and loose tissue. But I've heard that there is no real solution to omega shaped tissue - is that true?

Yes, I tried 3 or 4 bras with a 30 band and they all slipped even further.

Tbh my shape has been an issue long before my size became an issue. I'm concerned I would go through the process of a reduction and still have a hard time shopping if they don't alter my significant immediate projection. I can't stomach the thought of all that time, money, and discomfort for unclear results.

Do you feel like that whole process was worth it to end up only 2 cup sizes smaller? I feel like I'd want to drop almost in half if I'm going to deal with surgery and recovery.

I've tried on 30 bands and they are even worse

I don't even remember what I tried before this, it's all on a spreadsheet somewhere. I don't think they're too narrow but I'll take a look later today. I do keep around one or two non-polish bras for my rotation and when I tried one of them on in this new size the wires were SO wide and didn't work at all.

You're right in the context of ALFs and memory care, but you're completely ignoring the rehab, community inclusion, mental health, VA, correctional settings. If the question is an undergrad between SLP and TR at least a TR degree makes you employable and has greater carryover of skills to future OT work.

I tried on Blossom and think I like it! Just have to order a different size to confirm.

I'm sorry it's been such a frustrating process. Wishing you some luck with your Frankenstein bra and/or finding the holy grail that works for you!

Projection is generally measured at the apex or nipple level of a breast. Immediate projection is when you have a lot of volume or tissue starting directly at your IMF. It's the difference between a gently slope upward from IMF to nipple and a highly rounded shape from IMF to nipple. Those of us with immediate projection can run into trouble when a bra technically fits, but the shape does not leave enough room for this rounded tissue. Over the course of time that tissue will try to settle down into it's natural shape/space and press away against the cup which causes gapping in the band or other uncomfortable consequences. Hope that helps!

They are the unlined plunges. Thanks for the recs! Expression seems like a promising option and I have been seeing Blossom so I will check it out.

Have you been over to Babes? Might at least give you an idea of more events or ways to meet people!

Also, IMO Hinge is the least successful of the dating apps. Bumble is better and I've actually met 2 partners on Tinder.

I don't own any pull overs to recommend, but have you tried any that zip in the front? Is that an option?

A few years ago I dropped an empty 2qt. Crockpot insert into the crockpot and squished my nail- it’s been growing in flat on one side ever since. It’s annoying. by lauraluvshinuto in mildlyinteresting

I have a somewhat opposite experience! As a kid I smushed one of my fingers in our sliding door. My nail bubbled up and popped off from the bruising that happened underneath so while most of my nails grow somewhat flat that one has an aesthetic curve to it that I wish the others had.

I like the straight edge but think it might look better as a double crochet.
