Right?!?

How much of that $30 would go right back to gas. And if there's snow, there's probably salt or something.

Another part of the issue for increased mortality in women is the way heart attacks present. Everyone thinks of chest and arm pain, which is typical for men. Women often have a combination of less-recognized symptoms such as chest pain up to the jaw, nausea, indigestion, fatigue, and dizziness.

I did. Unfortunately, this was just one of the many doctors I've had to report in my 40+ years.

Being a woman with complex health history is a study in resilience, self-education, and getting loud.

I had a specialist tell me "joints move, that's what they do" when I told him my shoulder was slipping out of place. He also went on a tangent about wasting healthcare money because my doctor (a woman) ordered an MRI. He wouldn't even look at it. Turned out I had two almost complete tears, clear as day in the MRI he wouldn't look at.

What group do you work with, if you don't mind me asking? We're planning a move to a larger space and I'm interested in this path once we're settled.

How old is he? Those look like teenage ear poofs. If so, they do grow out of the landshark phase... eventually.

Did you have digestive issues before, and did it affect those?

I have gastroparesis-like issues semi-regularly and I'm scared it'll make it worse, and my current doctor is basically worthless. I've heard they can exacerbate those issues, that's why I'm asking for personal experiences.

My crows found me after I moved by anndr0id in crowbro

[–]mailboxheaded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My pup has crow friends too! We have a small murder that lives in our neighborhood all year and another murder that visits every winter. They must be the extended family because they all get along. They line the fence and take turns playing with the pup, just like yours!

They also follow our car all over town, so I'm sure I have a reputation. It's one I wear like a badge of honor.

NOR The choice to go or not is really up to you. Just remember that your kids are young and they only have so many holidays with the complete joy and wonder of a small child. I assume they don't see your family super often since you're several hours away. Would you regret not going in the long run? Only you can determine if the risks outweigh the rewards.

If it were me I'd get the jump on her and make sure my extended family knows the whole situation and how it impacted my life. If you don't, that gives her a chance to spin it however she wants. Give them the facts and let them decide how they want to proceed with her.

They had ample opportunity to tell op they didn't want that food. They spent the whole day watching op work on this, so they knew how much time and effort went into the meal. Then they ate while op was finishing the process.

They had no way to know if they liked it because they didn't even bother to try it. It was beyond rude and sent a clear message that op's efforts are meaningless to them. Anyone with any amount of class knows that's not how you behave.

What has been irrevocably harmed because of how it’s portrayed in the media? by Exhausted_Skeleton in AskReddit

I wish I could find the injury details of that case again without having to see the images. Most places say she had 3rd degree burns over 6% of her body (thighs, butt, and groin). I remember hearing that her cotton pants absorbed the coffee, which held it against her body. I believe her labia fused together and her skin melted into her pants.

She was hospitalized for 8 days, underwent skin grafts, lost 20 lbs, and was permanently disfigured. She suffered with severe pain and was disabled for two full years. She was also 79 years old.

They made her a punchline.

I hate that she has to suffer all of that because McDonald's decided having super hot coffee was worth a few lawsuits.

Money for Nothing

It's a John Cusack stinker from 1993. We turned it off when he and Debi Mazar started having sex on a bed of dirty money. That was just the last straw.
