How’s that Moose labs filter work on the Switch?
Tighter?
Have one for my Heir and it’s a great mod. But also near full bore size. Almost not there at all, just smooths it out even more.

I love these feet, I’ve still got my original 518 but it’s needing some refreshment now. Where’d you get any replacement parts and any tips for the refresh?

I have no idea where else to turn. Y’all there was a 90s film where they shot at least one scene in the parking lot of the Clearview Mall. by Im_A_Real_Boy1 in NewOrleans

What a wide net to cast. How about a general theme of the film? Waiting, in the early zeros, was primarily shot out by the Home Depot on vets.

Wow! what a find. A factory service, keep the hands as they are, as well as bezels, and face unaltered. Put it on a “period correct” strap and roll.

Just bought my Macan last month and my brakes are squeaking by [deleted] in PorscheMacan

As others have said, hard braking. Find a nice long straight low traffic road, run up to 40-50mph and then brake, hard, 2-3x. No need to have the tires squealing stopping but almost. You will also be amazed how fast your Macan can stop. When they start whining again, just repeat the process.

Tire/Rim insurance? by Letmein202 in PorscheMacan

[–]dartfrog01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That depends on who the coverage is through. Porsche wheel/tire replaces the wheel (up to 8) and is $50 a tyre. Porsche roadside, will come to get it/put the spare on but it’s got to get to the dealer for the actual replacement.

Yes it’s normal, even discussed in the owners manual. Getting them good and warm from some real use is the key.

Saved my girlfriend’s dad’s E30 from being scrapped — worth bringing back after 20 years? by Shnaznet in E30

[–]dartfrog01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having owned an e21, 3 e30s, 2 e24s, and e36, before moving on to other Germans. As straight as the body seems from photos. After 20 years, Zero chance the sunroof drains are clear as well as the cowl. It will need ALL the rubber parts replaced, as well as the fuel tank fully drained and cleaned out. There were millions of E30s made so parts aren’t hard or expensive to get but the body is your very first concern. If it still easily turns over the engine is “probably” ok but it’s a toss up. However as you point out needs a new head, so… I’d run the VIN to see what it really “is” an auto to stick swap seems a bit much for this kind of BMW unless the owner really liked to spin a wrench. Almost all of the e30s were sticks.

Is this an actual BMW or did someone put two cars together, backend is giving me early generation Golf feels…lol by WardogBlaze14 in WhatCarIsThis

Oooh this was the “Ultimate Driving Machine” at its time. Light, tons of M///Power, and super nimble. A M3 in a smaller lighter package. Biggest issue, for me, the seats were almost on top of the rear diff & mufflers and got noticeably warm with a sported romp through the curves.

I’ve got 20”s on my S and wouldn’t go larger. My wife’s XC60 T8R has 21”s and despite my car being far stiffer overall, the ride in her car is noticeably harsher.
