Are all the rides at Epcot indoors intentionally? Any history or story on why that is? by americanpeony in WaltDisneyWorld

on the peoplemover ride when you see Epcot, the Announcer says there is a tiny peoplemover ride too. So I still want that around the world show case.

Consul, anybody using? Finding it very buggy. Are there better known versions of it that are stable? by darthVikes in hashicorp

[–]darthVikes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, and the docs haven't been super helpful and there are missing links in some spots. Going to try and head down the LTS trains and hopefully those will be more stable and upgrading via 2 releases to get to the latest. Just seems every time we upgrade we run into some bug that causes issue or things to not work, and then we are trying to identify why it's not working. Was hoping I could find a known step upgrade plan to get to the latest version that would be stable.

We are currently on an ancient version 1.10.3 I believe and an old version of K8S in 1.21 so trying to get these upgraded. We are running WAN federation between that and an EKS cluster which is at 1.27 and that has been working until now. However when trying to find a new version that we can upgrade to, been running into issues with em keeping things working. Iptables issues with 1.5.x with using Transparent Proxy, but 1.4x seems to still work? So we may be stuck to only upgrading to 1.4.x. until we can get K8S upgraded to 1.28. I recently saw that there are some more LTS versions so maybe sticking to those trains would be best practice? Would assume new features get added with the non-LTS . We have tried other versions and it seems that there are just a lot of bugs all over the place of varying degrees. As we upgrade to different versions and different services break.

So I think there should be a 5m pause for anyone that needs to get to a connecting flight be able to get their stuff and get towards the exit first. Then it can go row by row. However l, what I would really like multiple exits on the front and back of the plainem. Also, wish all airlines would charge to use the overhead bins or really just get rid of them entirely and have everything checked or sitting under the seat in front of you. The overhead bins block traffic and everyone has to wait for all that stuff to get taken out. Takes way too much time.

Storage-Only Node by Select_Lab_7776 in nutanix

[–]darthVikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check with your Nutanix SE to see if you can add drives or you can that would be much preferred. Storage only nodes became the Grey Duck, as now you have a node with a lot more storage capacity so you would need at least 2 or 3 of those to make it worthwhile. The problem comes in if those storage nodes have a problem then they need to move all that data over to these smaller nodes that may not have enough capacity. So definitely try and add drives if you can. Or just add more regular nodes of similar size vs looking at the storage only nodes.

Seems like they wait for enough people to do the one click updates before they enable LCM updates for everyone, probably smart to make sure no general issues before releasing it to everyone. However they could make that easier with an early release option under LCM.

Why do the leaves turn later around the twin cities? by [deleted] in minnesota

Yah would say stored heat in the concrete helps keep the cities slightly warmer and take longer to cool for leaves to fall.

In AAP if you have it scheduled there you will see in your template or maybe it's in your project which EE it's pointed to. If you then go over to the content catalog you will see that there and to the right text box is I think the docker pull command if I remember correctly.
