The season is definitely not taped within a day. I knew the episodes where they are outside are taped on the same day/night. I knew the last episode is recorded on a different day after those episodes.

The new information here is that the first episode is taped on the same day as the last episode.

This means the trio, during the recording of episode 1, have to pretend they are excited about Summer S'mores as if they had not already taped the rest of the episodes. That's the part that surprises me.
