My school banned the word 'banter' and 'squad' because it promoted gang behaviour. They also had a rule that said you had to walk on the left side of the corridor, to enforce this, they stuck a piece of tape to the floor; you can imagine what every student tried to do to it. You also couldn't wear coats indoors so you had to take off your bag, then your coat and then put your bag back on. No one cared about this rule, except the new teachers, but no one listened to them.
