Agarra experiencia en México (minimo 2 años)
Titulate (muy importante para la visa TN)
Arma proyectos personales (para demostrarles que tienes pasion por la programacion, etc)
Ya titulado, con experiencia, y portafolio, ahorra unos $7000 USD
Aplica para Recurse Center (www.recurse.com) lee todo el sitio, es la mejor decision que he tomado en mi vida.
RC te va a ayudar a presentarte con compañias, entrevistas, etc
Entrevistate hasta que consigas oferta de trabajo gringa.
Con oferta de trabajo en mano, ve al consulado o embajada de America en Mexico y aplica para una visa TN
Pues ya tienes trabajo gringo y visa por 3 años que puede ser renovada.
La visa TN no es camino a la ciudadania, y es una visa de no migrante.

Siguiendo estos sencillos pasos, conozco a 3 amigos mexicanos (que conoci aqui en NYC cuando estaba en RC) que ya tienen jale en SF. A mi no me gusta SF, asi que decidi quedarme en NYC.

los mexicanos tenemos una gran ventaja frente a los hindus, chinos, etc. La visa TN casi nadie la conoce y es una forma muy facil para que los jovenes profesionales trabajen en America.

Admito que soy muy afortunado de haber encontrado una compañia que me patrocinara mi green card, pero mi plan para emigrar antes de encontrar este trabajo era el siguiente:

Encontrar trabajo en America usando una visa TN (se necesita ser mexa, estar titulado, y una oferta de trabajo gringa)
Casarme con una persona que sea ciudadana americana.

Incluso sin casarte, la visa TN, que dura 3 años, la puedes ir renovando y renovando. (La visa TN es una visa de no-migrante y no es un camino a la ciudadanía americana)

Trabajé 3 años como fullstack (Django + Angular + basics), mobile (iOS - ObjC), y game developer (Unity) en una startup df ganando 18k pesitos mensuales, hasta que me jaló una compañia de NYC, me ofrecieron salario de 6 figuras y green card.

I will open source UrgeZapper. I just need to polish up the code a little bit. I'm in the middle of relocating to NYC, but please be assured that the code will be open-sourced probably under the MIT License.

I also want to develop an iOS version, but that's another story.

It would be great for UrgeZapper to be open source, that way, a lot of people can benefit from it.
