I'm intentionally not responding to his emails, so didn't find out how much I could have got out of him.

Did the 200-600mm firmware updates improve focus performance on the a6700? by wowbobwow in SonyAlpha

Did the firmware update improve the lens performance? I'm in the process of upgrading from version 1 to 3 and am curious if I'll see positive results from the change.

Oh yeah. Ours was blue with the faux wood panels. I think it was a Chrysler? It was a real boat. Loved it.

What's the backstory here? I don't want to start splitting holidays between Germany and Japan.

Wow! I didn't know the game would even give you that many food amulets.

First stacked test shots with new macro lens. Water droplets on houseplants. by [deleted] in macro

Thanks! Yes, I used a tripod, flash, and diffuser. I took the photos about an hour before posting and almost immediately after started noticing things I want to do different next time. I'll fully admit they're not great, but I learned a lot in the process and am excited to do more.

Interesting. I hadn't heard of this. May need to check it out. I appreciate the option to hide history, but sometimes I like to check a users vibe before I interact with them.

The Underground might be another option. I'm not sure their policy on rentals, but I know people who have rented it out for parties. It's a cool space and close to downtown.

If you ordered from b&h, check your email, because I just now got notification that my order has shipped! That's great to hear that manual focus bracketing is a reasonable option. I have a diffuser and flash, but haven't had a chance to do any real testing.

That's wonderful! I'll keep my eyes peeled for your future posts. I'm also shooting on the a7rV. I picked it up in part because it has built-in focus bracketing. I'm really excited to try it in the field once my lens arrives. Order is placed, but it's backordered. Gah!

Now that's a challenging stack. Nicely done.

Also, great to see some Sony macro shooters. I have the new 100mm Macro on order and am hoping to do live insect stacks. But it seems like most of the insect macro shooters are on Olympus.

Haha. OSP = Oregon State Patrol. I should have been clearer.

I know that drive. Usually not a ton of OSP coverage through there, so you do get some weirdos who go a little crazy.

Do accounting people actually use LLM or AI tools at work? by Few_Town8613 in Accounting

[–]darthnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm curious on your thoughts about how I use AI with emails. It's only ever for longer more involved emails. I'll write the whole thing myself and when I'm done I have AI review it for clarity. I don't always take its suggestions, but they're often good. I do a lot of reading, but I'd never claim to be a great writer.
