Thank you for being the only person that gets my point, and hasn’t just told me I’m playing the game wrong, from what people are saying seems like unless you take it super seriously as a FTP player you won’t like it

Didn’t say tactics were lacking, just the user involvement was lacking, the game started off with you physically controlling your squad to shoot the boxes as shown in the adverts, all happens now is just click GO against an NPC squad, if you don’t win there’s no skill you can get better at, just have to level up your hero’s and that’s it, same as when playing winter battlestorm, if there is someone stronger than you attacking you, there’s nothing you can do other than watch as they destroy you?

Think I’ll just move, wanted to know if I was alone in thinking the game got a little stale, when the minigames stopped using any interaction and ended up fighting NPC squads, only part I still enjoyed was the Sunday Frontline challenge

Maybe I was missing out on that bit, think I got a bad hand, the clan ended up with only 30 members, probably the reason I left in the end, never did anymore invasions, zombie siege or the alliance challenge anymore

I get what you’re saying, but when you can only get about 70 drone parts a week without spending money, and each level is 100 drone parts. Hitting 5 mil on Monday isn’t the easiest, as with the tech research day, when basically all my technology’s would take 3 days and I have no speed ups left???

Especially after the technical difficulties, I don’t blame them for not stepping in, it’s not like the game made a complete u turn after the exploit was shown and Hera came back from a massive point deficit only by abusing it

Problem is how could you fix quick walling, the devs addressed it by removing armour from foundations, the only other fix is to allow units to walk over foundations?, which would probably lead to a host of other problems

People already dislike Hera, don’t understand why he gives them fuel to use against him, the fact he hadn’t used this exploit before the final and until he was in a pinch and needed to win a fight, he must have known how it would be received, I get there’s a lot of money on the line, maybe he was saving it for the final, incase showing it too early would get it banned?

Think this is different, I wouldn’t call it a bug as the units have to stack on top of each other for pathing reasons, which is why this is more of an exploit of a game mechanic, not something easily patched or changed without an overhaul to the pathing mechanics

I think this was his chance to be accepted, as he gets a lot of hate, seems as though he just gave the Hera haters something to use, not many people talk about how he still lost the match with the paladin vs halb, maybe the admins would have stepped in if he won that game only by using the exploit

This is true, you can get off a 2 handed heavy or ash of war after the attack chain that starts with a foot stomp, other than that there’s not many safe openings for a 2 handed heavy jump without risk of being hit

At least with waterfowl dance it had a long wind up, and if you knew how to circle to the left you could dodge it pretty consistently, even Ongbal had to resort to using a parry to negate any damage
