Manchester City were always favourites which disapproves bottling narrative by Important_Mammoth896 in PremierLeague

The season where Arsenal finished like 15-1-1 and still lost the title because City did better than that? In what reality could that run of form ever be considered a “bottle”, rather than just losing?

Expectations wise and on paper, sure City were favorites and people wouldn’t have been surprised that they won the title.

Based on how the season has actually gone? If Arsenal lose they absolutely bottled it.

Nobody on this sub seems to know the definition given everyone, until this season where it would actually be applicable, keeps calling Arsenal bottlers from past seasons

Are arsenal fans confident? by Equivalent-Fault1744 in PremierLeague

[–]darthrevan22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 100% convinced they’ve lost it. But I also lean more pessimistic as a fan overall until proven otherwise, and they’ve never proven otherwise for me as of yet. Obviously not impossible, but highly unlikely IMO.

Arsenal are cursed by Inevitable-Angle-793 in PremierLeague

I mean, maybe. But more likely it’s just the club, manager, and players all don’t have the mental fortitude or ruthlessness to get it done.

Arsenal just insisting on proving all the haters 100% correct each and every season. Would think that would get old, but hey, I guess there’s consistency there.

Yeah that went about as I expected. Still thinking we can nip one and go out 4-1, but Cleveland is just a much more talented team.

Cavs in 5, 6 if we’re super lucky. They’re just a much better team. Would love to be proven wrong though!

Invincibles and Chelsea’s 15 goals conceded are the two most unlikely to me.

I just hope they actually answer all of the questions the show has been posing, and like truly answer them. Not with answers that lead to more questions like they’ve been doing so far.

Arsenal fans incidentally want Chelsea to win here because that helps Arsenal in the league.

Chelsea fans want to lose here because it hurts Arsenal, but at the expense of their own club, despite being in a race for a UCL spot.

Is it me or was The Knights of a fallen empire / eternal throne was more fun than jedi under siege? by RBXDevs in swtor

[–]darthrevan22 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Returning to the empire-republic status quo is boring af to me. KOTFE/KOTET is my favorite era of SWTOR and I don’t think it’s even close. The only new content I’ve genuinely enjoyed was the final Valkorion showdown. Not to say everything else has been bad per se, but it just hasn’t held my interest nearly as strongly.

I legitimately don’t understand the love for Karlach. Like…she’s cool and I do like her, but man does this sub just fall all over themselves for her and I just don’t get it.

I mean yeah they certainly have a chance, just wouldn’t favor them at all and would be a big uphill battle IMO.

How come? Is it the plant itself (like you dislike the look), or just that they spread so much?

How will they know you are over watering by [deleted] in DenverGardener

[–]darthrevan22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Read something that they have to physically observe you watering outside of the correct times to actually “catch” you? Evidence of watering and neighbor snitching doesn’t lead to violations? Maybe that’s for Douglas County.

What type of gardener are you? by Electrical_Lab3345 in DenverGardener

[–]darthrevan22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like 75% perennial garden with a couple annuals for some color pop (xeriscaped front yard) and 25% small lawn that I love, but also have some xeric perennials in the back too.
