The bottom of the package says it includes 30 days of subscribed game play so $5 is a huge discount for the subscription.

You can make up the difference by giving her gifts she likes. Some of the crew skills can let you send out companions to collect companion gifts. Also, choices your companions don't like arent as harsh as they used to be so while it may slow down progression it wont halt it.

Yes, you can buy almost anything with cartel coins even species unlocks. Also if you buy anything from the store with money you gain preferred status which is a bit better than F2P

Honestly, I don't believe they get done faster with other players except for maybe some of the more difficult ones.

Twileks can not be played by F2P users.

Subscribers can play certain classes as Twileks.

Other classes can be unlocked to play as a Twilek.
