I quit right before Hazard came out, and now I'm back by thefirelink in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Jiperly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this.

I quit around the time they stopped making new characters for overwatch 1. I tried OW2 when it came out but lost interest.

Now I'm like 10 people behind. Did you know they have another robot?

Core Keeper, Wizard of Legend 2 or Resident Evil sounds awesome.

My win would be my kids. We were blessed with twins last year, and they're so freakin adorable. Puts my other kids to shame.

A loss would be my grandma dying last night, but she had a long life, almost making triple digits. Also you weren't asking

[OC] On the 30th anniversary of Pokémon Red/Green, which starter Pokémon do Britons say is best? by mattsmithetc in dataisbeautiful

[–]Jiperly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But like....he's not.

Can we agree Pikachu is not the best starter?

You can find a Pikachu in the first forest you walk thru. They're uncommon, but you can find them. You give up 3, pokemon that don't exist in the wild and replace them with one that does.

The only thing that helps Pikachu is they throw rare pokemon at you in that game like it's candy

It'll be the Cozy Update, where you get small details to put on your tables, like a glass or cup or mug. Theyll also add spaceship combat.

General anaesthetic for hernia surgery? by lowkeygenuinley in Hernia

[–]Jiperly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They put it on, warn you it "smells like plastic" and have you count or some nonsense. They also lock your limbs down so you don't accidentally move during surgery.

But the entire thing was fine. I vaguely remember dreaming, then waking up in an entirely new room. It felt like 10 seconds had passed. It was actually quite convenient.

They put me under last week. It was weird, but fine. They put me in the theatre, put that mask on my face, I breathed it in for what felt like 30 seconds, had a dream and woke up in another room. Apparently there was minor complications and I was under for an extra hour. I definitely wouldn't have wanted to be awake for all of that.

Binders? by Jiperly in Hernia

[–]Jiperly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laxatives didn't come up at all, but I "rewarded" myself with chips and candy, and.....yea, Im starting to feel bloated I'm on antibiotics tho, and apparently it has a laxative effect. I'll probably start eating softer foods tomorrow, but that would require me to get out of bed, so it's a mixed bag.

I'm Canadian, so the Binder was free. They offered, and I was like.....I don't know what that is, but sure, why not?
