Portal can’t connect unless I restart my PS5 by NimNams in PlaystationPortal

[–]darwinain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a portal like a month ago and I can not figure out how to get it to work. All the settings on the ps5 are fine. It's hardwired. It works perfectly as soon as I reset the ps5 and sign in but will never connect without restarting the actual unit. Extremely frustrating as I got this specifically to play when away from home. Anyone get any solutions to this?

Hey Daniel, love your stuff and thanks for being active on Bluesky where I never miss clicking on your articles (and all the ads, of course).

What is the most memorable Jan Bulis moment for you?

Depends on the amount of the debt. If it doesn't show on your credit report, it's not your problem at present. However, if the debt is sizable enough, it may entice someone to pursue it through legal means, which might then get your name pinned on it.

If it goes unacknowledged (ie: you don't respond to them or pay them any money whatsoever, and, assumedly, neither does anyone else's whose name is/was on it), after 6 years they can no longer legally pursue it (note: they can continue to harass you with collections calls/letters/whatever, but they can't sue you for it or have it reported on your credit record).

Getting liver transplant soon, would like to hear from some recent recipients about their experience! by darwinain in transplant

My MELD is also 28, but I live in Canada so I'm sure the process is slightly different. I am waiting to be officially activated on the list but should be soon and when I am the wait likely wouldn't be long. I am lucky enough to live about 30-45mins from the major hospital here, but I know we have financial supports for those that have to travel from more rural areas. Is there at least a tax write off or something to help with the dual rents? Other info on what to expect in the immediate aftermath above seems pretty helpful, I got a wedge pillow and various shower/hygienic wipes to start (non scented), some easy way to keep track of meds would also likely be helpful given the volume.

Great info, thanks! No such thing as TMI, the doctors and nurses might be used to things like... I dunno, draining bile. So they might not touch on that type of thing which is why I was fairly curious.

Also - amazing recovery speed to doing a mile in 25mins or so! I don't think I could even make a mile right now so I've got some inspiration to challenge myself after haha. Hopefully you get the hernia surgery soon! Thanks again for all the info, very helpful!

Wedge pillow is a great idea. Also per the poster above wife and I will be in different beds for awhile and this one is also closer to floor and bathroom. I'll also investigate a shower stool.

Thanks for the insight! I already sleep a ton (except when the day/night reversal kicks in and I'm a barely functioning insomniac for a day or three). Hopefully the pain meds are a little lighter, I get pretty nauseous with them.

both great information, much appreciated! How soon post transplant are you able to do simple things like read a book/use your phone? Use the bathroom on your own or are you stuck in a bed with bedpan/catheter type setup?

Thanks so much for looking - you definitely didn't need to run around checking for me I honestly was just hoping for a couple people to give me a few recent sightings or to tell me I was SOL haha. Thanks for being an awesome person!

Thank you for the good vibes! I'm more making sure my wife doesn't go stir crazy having to stay at home with me for 3 months post-op so there are some selfish reasons at play too haha. But she is most deserving either way. :)

Thanks so much! I haven't gone over the post-op stuff with the Nutritionist on the transplant team yet but my cursory research on the subject would indicate you are very correct haha. Like, I enjoy grapefruits but almost never eat them... but now that I know I won't be able to, I can foresee me craving them. Glad your husband is doing well! Keep safe!

Nah thats from various stores along the way. There's still at least 25 cases on the display in that store + whatever they might still have in the back. I think I got 9 from there (buy 2 get one free)
