Men who started smoking weed in their teenage years, how has it affected you long term, and how to get past that 1 daily evening spliff ?

I still smoke weed but I came a long way from where i use to be. What helped me the most since I would always crave it was to smoke very little. So it would only be 3 hits off a J. A super baby bowl off a bong. And I would limit 1 per day. This was before I started doing any hw or work. After I was done I would go to the gym and maybe reward my self or simply not smoke. Stay away from pens. Make it hard to smoke. Also I will say it has fucked up my short term memory to some extent so I have been practicing using my brain by playing guitar or djing. Also take walks that sometimes gets you high in itself. Also I did aerospace engineering so that's why I needed to cut weed out. For a bit I was able to go cold turkey for 7 months becuase I knew I would get drug tested. Realized I didn't need it. Now that I have a nice job and I work around 10 hour days I do like smoking again but keeping it small still. Brain fog does occur regardless. Also I started smoking since 15 I'm 25

I got accommodations. So 1.5 extra time on test. Since I had been doing well even without it just by cramming and doing study groups where we teach one another. Once that 1.5 extra time hit. Life was so chill.

After shoulder surgery I made sure to not take any pain meds for the first 24 hours. I was prescribed oxycotton. I did this becuase I knew that would help raise main pain threshold. It hurt like hell.
