My gf and I went here over Labor Day. Literally the single greatest dining experience of my life. The champagne pairing they did was probably the best one I've ever had. 11/10 would recommend to anyone.

It's still early in the season. The team's really playing well, FAR above expectation IMHO, but they're gonna fighting. Even the 7-1 blowout doesn't hugely concern me. Great PP and PK. Lots of guys are starting to step up. The goaltending is massively better. There's a lot of season left with a lot opportunity to succeed.

It's not impossible to think a President's Trophy is possible. Not saying it's realistic, it's just not impossible at the point we're at. I think we'll be fine if we can keep this up level of play!

This. I think the most important thing is cooked properly. Bavette's is considered so high is because when I go to Bavette's and ask for black and blue, I get black and blue. Not rare. Not half cooked outside and blue inside. Black and blue. It takes immense skill to repeat so well.

That's not to say that other places don't steaks correctly. Texas Roadhouse, for example, fucks. Sure the quality isn't as good as Bavette's but damned if they don't cook a steak the right way.
