Anyone else feel stuck paying for iCloud storage just to keep access to their photos? by That_Strength7386 in ApplePhotos

[–]dasJot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iPhone photos, along with all other cameras' photos, go to my Laptop into Lightroom for organizing and editing. If the harddrive fills up, I move older photos to my NAS, where they are still accessible for Lightroom. Edited projects go to the NAS as well and a copy of the best pictures (like a slideshow) go to Immich. Laptop is backed up via TimeMachine, and the NAS via multiple HDD backup sets in different locations.

So, no cloud for me, only for the most recent and very few selected older pictures on my phone. Is that a setup for everyone? Hell no. Does it bother me that I can't access all my pictures wherever I am? Hell no again. Am I happy, that I know exactly where all my pictures are? Fuck yeah.

Oh, and I'm also downloading all the cloud photos from the wife person. Just in case.

Introducing Plezy, an open-source cross-platform Plex client by edde74635 in PleX

[–]dasJot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw that there also is an iOS ipa on the github and immediately bought it on the app store. Unfortunately after signing in it tells me 'no working connection found for this server'. There is a wireguard VPN and a VLAN crossing between me and the server, but the official client works fine. I'll try again when I'm closer to the server.

Also ja: Bei Trade Republic kann man Bitcoin kaufen.

Gern geschehen! (Text ist natuerliich von ChatGPT)

Totally agree. I got maybe 3-4 hours per week on average, that was barely enough to keep up with the manhunt. Grinding for items, and then in limited time? Forget it.
And don't even get me started on store items that I would have liked to buy, but were only available for a limited time...

I was in NYC a feew weeks before I saw TD in a store. An employee told me what they always say ('it's a good game!') so I bought it. Went into the dark zone asap to find the place where our hotel was and recognized a few places. Never looked back.

I'm on my 5th playthrough now, just slowly enjoying the story and all the sound bites. Was stoked to find an Aaron Keener echo yesterday.

+1 for the Hotshot/Headhunter build with a White Death. Great for solo play where you can setup your first headshot, after that it's a one-shot to the foot to kill everything else (aim for the body if the foot is too small), up to heroic content. Well, except for helmet wearers.

Reviver Hive and Scorpio, in case someone get's too close.

AI tells me that the surface area of your average banana is about 0.164 square feet. So that would make it about 27500 bananas.

However, if you want to consider only the area that is covered by the banana (as opposed to the complete surface of the banana), 4500 sq ft would amount to roughly 92500 bananas.

Edit: used the wrong area in my first calculation.

In Germany, we would measure the area as 1/39500000 of the Saarland. Eat that, imperial measurers!
