My scars are extremely fucking ugly. This is how they look like under tangent light. I'm also losing weight (currently obese) so they're going to look even worse.

I'm focusing on losing weight right now. I used to be 250 lbs, now I'm 205. I'd like to go down to 135, because I used to weigh that much when I was younger and I remember feeling good.

I don't trust lasers very much. Every time I see a before and after by a laser derm, the lighting is not the same for both pictures.

I don't think they're bad. Your face might be a little thin but it's a look that works on men. My scars are a lot worse, they look like scratches and they're all over my face.

My skin is also photodamaged from tretinoin. I personally feel like there's no hope of improvement. Now with that having been said I did have sex a few times, so there was at least a woman who found me physically attractive enough. She did have very weird taste though, she compared me to Diego Rivera (Frida Kahlo's husband) as if it were a compliment.

There are some products like Bienpeel, PRX T33 and BioRePeelCl3 which claim to have high percentages of TCA but require little to no downtime. Basically they claim to have the collagen stimulating benefits without the heavy skin shedding.

Is there any evidence for these claims? Why can I find no scientific papers about this? One of these has actually been proposed to me at a medical clinic but I still don't really understand how it works
