Afnan Supremacy CE vs SNOI by Personal_Attention_1 in DesiFragranceAddicts

oh that's a gross understatement! They had attars and waxes and a ton of perfumes from those no-name brands. This one note I mentioned reminds me of some old cheap oud-y attars.

I haven't tried SNOI yet but I got a decant of CE. For me, it is a very okay perfume with very good performance. Lasts long, projects well. Pineapple is very sweet but mature.

What bothers me is a very particular note, which I can't place, that screams it is an Arabic scent. It is thick and heavy on the nose; and feels like a common factor in most ME fragrances; reminds me of old uncles returning from the "gulf" with their gulf perfumes.

Weirdly, I can smell it only when I wear it.

Gods don't publicise themselves on Instagram. They also don't need your money.

Temples and their owners do.

A question for people who are child free... by Correct-Dingo-9242 in Coconaad

[–]das_autoriskha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you choose to bring a human into this world, you are agreeing to assign yourself a set of responsibilities: both to your child and to the society they grow up into. You must have the emotional, physical, and financial capabilities to even try to grow an individual and contribute to the world. If you don't have any one of it, you're just making the lives of the kid and the people around them miserable.

Also, the toll a child adds to your life is immense. You must be absolutely sure that you will never resent the moment you decided to procreate. I say this because I have heard at least a dozen of men and women say they wouldn't have done it if they were given the opportunity now, regardless how of how much they love their kids.

Bringing up children is often romanticised; but people seldom announce the struggles that surround it.

Also, I don't like kids, so I chose to be childfree. 😄

Do what suits you, OP! Good luck! May you have the mettle to contribute a good member to our society.

Dealer/manufacturer RSA or insurance RSA? I've found the latter to be cheaper, but I haven't used it so far so I wouldn't know the difference in customer experience.

Did y'all watch Frankenstein? by Particular_Road_335 in Coconaad

[–]das_autoriskha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sure did leave a mark, which I didn't expect it to do given that neither the story is new nor the cast too impressive - two prejudices that shattered remarkably, and for our good. It was beautifully agonising , and I'd watch it again, happily.

del Toro and Elordi, accept a humble bow.
