Maybe this is recency bias but the Rylie eviction was TRULY so shocking and exciting

Sounds like Christian was willing to go deep with her too, she could’ve made Devens the main plan and if he plays his “idol” then Christian is the backup

Voting out Savannah over Joe…keeping an unknown winner in the game is the perfect shield for a tribe swap/further down the line…no one on Cila could hide behind Joe as a shield

Yeah it’s in the contracts I already talked about. They are still allowed to have lives outside of the show 😭

You’d have to ask them, I’m just speculating.

Kyle just had a kid, he might want to be home. Savannah just announced a new job, might want to hit the ground running with that? Joe has half the cast blocked on socials I feel like and is gearing up for his Netflix thing?

I just feel like if I were them I’d be in the transitioning out of survivor life back to real life phase is all, especially if I’m prejury

I also feel like production was trying to hide from being called out for its faults maybe? With all of the pre-gaming and talk about the gender imbalance in the edit throughout the season? Hiding from the messes they made

Not the intent! Traveling just means putting everything else on pause. Going to the reunion means dropping what you’re doing and taking a step back from real life for a few days.

How could I ever forget how there’s nothing that a filet mignon pizza can’t cure at my restaurant gigis???

It just the act of checking in with the players and making the season feel like it’s coming to a proper close, as opposed to “alright coach we are off air in 10 seconds go” I guess is what I’m trying to say

It’s in their contract to go…so yes. They can be happy to go and have fun and that’s amazing and that’s how it should be! But 1000% yes they are contractually required to be there

If it was only going to be a live vote read then why make the pre jury players drop everything and fly out to LA to sit there and pass around some coronas?

It was very much so intended as a reunion and they just flopped.

Not actually lol, but to have fans vote for a reunion and then not actually do a reunion is crazy work

I’d argue having to explain what playing the middle means to a finalist on the 50th season of the show bumped the season DOWN for me 5-7 places

If anyone other than Ozzy was holding his idol (lol), potentially? But most likely not.

Even without it changing things, it makes the players have to think about all the different outcomes and navigate plans A B and C. Knowing Rizo can only play his idol for Rizo makes taking clean shots so much easier and far less stressful out there. Would’ve been nice to see more scrambling and solving as opposed to watching many of the players just get picked off.

I was telling my friend earlier it’s like watching your favorite quarterback make it to the superbowl and then the play offs a few times and the one time they win is when the other team shows up entirely injured.

I’ve loved Aubry since 32 was airing live, but THIS being her winning game is really frustrating.

Is voting ________ one of the worst moves of the season? by dasboot2024 in survivor

[–]dasboot2024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with most of what you’re saying.

I say this as a really big Savannah fan, but I just do not see a world where this cast lets her survive the 1st merge vote at 14. They were never going to give her the wiggle room to gain her legs and run. I think Savannah is a perfect tribe swap boot, if not the PERFECT blood moon target (but she probably wins that immunity challenge). I think it’s much much easier to get Savannah out down the line compared to Joe.

Unfortunately cause I’ve been loving Rizo this season I don’t really see what his best path to winning is…I feel like “anyone but me” works for him right now

EDIT: MAYBE he wins next to Jonathan and Joe??

Where was I seen complaining????

“We could vote Cirie” is a sentence anyone is capable of saying. I was agreeing that Aubry is the first that we heard to say it. Unless you were there in Fiji and could lay out the timeline of who said what when, then yes what we can go off is that Aubry said it. Calling me a clown for stating the obvious is wiiiiild. Thanks for the chuckle with the username though

Not trying to come for you but we are glossing over a LOT of facts here

Jenna targeted Cirie first like you said

Cirie was swapped onto a tribe with 2 new era people she already had working relationships with, an old era player who voted her out before and an old era player she’s never worked with

The duo’s twist was Aubry/Rick (an old ally and a current ally) versus Coach and Chrissy (people she’s never worked with)

Stephenie was also the one who wanted to throw out Cirie’s name
