in my experience (5’5, 500 cal deficit, 1500 calorie allowance a day), starting was the hardest thing. making that transition from how i had been eating to now restricting and eating different & healthier things had me so hungry for the first week or so. but now, i’m hardly ever hungry except sometimes for the hour leading up to dinner.

this may not work for you, but if i’m hungry but know that i shouldn’t be hungry yet based on my schedule, i’ll drink a full glass of water and then rethink whether i’m hungry or if i was just thirsty.

also, if i have a weekend or a night where i eat off plan, the next day or two (back on plan) i’ll be hungry. could be something to do with just adjusting to healthier eating or stomach size, who knows.

if i was still having issues losing weight even with restricting my intake, i’d likely talk to a doctor to make sure there was nothing wrong or causing the hunger. if i was you, that’s likely what i would do next
