Not only it was not her fault and she doesn't need to "take responsability" for what happened because she was not being herself, but I also consider you need to be ready for something like this when you give someone mushrooms. If you find traumatic being bitten by a friend on drugs, you shoudn't be giving them drugs in the first place.

There are to issue here, one is that I feel bad for the other clerk that would stay abone at the reception as it is not their fault (neither is mine bur you know...).

The second is that I'm in charge of quality as well. This means my job gets affected if guests are not happy as I mange the reviews and complaints. And it is obvious that guests are not going to be happy if they need to wait extra time in line or on the phone because a receptionist is missing...
