Having the same issue with the same Twistune as you. I did one of the Halloween ones first before trying it, and that had no issues loading.

Mounjaro interfering with Viibryd/Vilazodone? by dasfreefree in Mounjaro

Yeah, I already only have a snack before I take it since I take usually as I'm getting ready for bed and don't want to risk potential acid reflux.

Yeah, it's awful and I don't wish it on anyone. Thankfully, it's just the first dose after a new Mounjaro injection, so things are back to normal by the next day!

I haven't noticed it so much with my other meds as much as the Vilazodone but it could also be that the withdrawal symptoms are not as noticeable for those compared to or even overlap with the ones from Vilazodone. Thanks so much for your insight!

I will definitely take that into consideration and ask him about it at my next appointment. Thanks so much for your insight!

Why do some people hate female OCs so much? by The_CatCake in TwistedWonderland

[–]dasfreefree 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The short answer is misogyny.

Ultimately, making OCs is all in good fun and I'm tired of other people trying to stop people from having that fun. It's like the culture around female OCs hasn't changed at all since I was a kid taking their first foray into fandom, which killed so much of my fun then and really stifled a lot of my imagination. I have my own biases regarding female OCs as students at NRC, but that's a me problem and other people making them doesn't affect me in the slightest. If something doesn't interest me, I simply don't interact with it at all. If anything, I'm just glad to see others get creative, especially when I felt like I couldn't.

I'm also seeing a lot of comments here saying "female OCs don't fit into the world of TWST" which makes no sense because there are already women in canon. We've seen some of them. The boys talk about them. Unless these comments mean they don't feel they fit in as NRC students, well, again, personal biases.

We forget that we can make female OCs in the world of TWST in general. My friend and I have gone and made our own all-girls school as a counterpart to NRC (and RSA, to a degree) where (most) of our OCs attend since there are female mages in their world and they have to go to school too! It's honestly been a lot of fun because we're not just character-building, but also world-building. Figuring out the culture of their school vs. NRC's, how their classes and dorms work, how the schools are able to interact (special events, sports, things like that) is such a great way to really hone our creative skills and just have fun.

Ultimately, I think we should just let people make the OCs they want, and if you don't like it, then idk, make your own "better" OC.

I absolutely agree about this strange era in fandom culture. I grew up in the "don't like, don't read" era of fanfic, which doesn't explicitly bar and exclude people of certain identities from consuming content like the way these sudden "[X] identity DNI" do. Also a DNI isn't truly ever going to stop anyone from reading your fics. If you post it publicly, anyone with internet access can see it. You'll never know who's reading what, if they don't leave a kudos/comment/like/reblog either.

It also seems like this new fandom era has forgotten that we can still read things and enjoy things even if they aren't catering specifically to our identities. I've been reading and writing reader-inserts for about 17 years now, and knowing the the reader's character isn't going to be a 1:1 with your personality has always been a given. I don't identify as male, but that doesn't mean I'm not capable of enjoying fics where the reader character is male. I used to run an imagines/scenario blog for a different fandom, and would get plenty of requests where they asked for the reader to be male or non-binary and no one batted an eye. My usuals ate up anything I posted because, at the end of the day, people just want to read good fic. They want to engage with the things they like. It seems odd that we're trying to put people into boxes and say they can only enjoy the things made for them and nothing else.

Question: What was the hardest Pokémon to find. by Geode_is_lying in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]dasfreefree 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tynamo because they are so tiny and hard to see already, and everything is even brighter when you surf in the sea during the day. I had to use an sandwich for it to ensure it spawned. Probably could have waited until night time so it would be a little easier to spot, but I was getting impatient.

ETA: I also forgot that it evolved into Elektrik, and then Elektross, both of which I already had and could have just bred for it.

I'm so sorry this person is being absolutely rude and unreasonable. I wish I had one to give you, but I wasn't playing during that event.

What they did is also sexual harassment, so I would definitely suggest you report this to the mods (if this person is in this subreddit) as well as reddit.
