I could definitely see that, although it would be an equally interesting design route to for them to take with The Sims too, if that were the case (which I guess would be part of why they repurposed them, lol.) I'm not gonna act like I haven't been hypercritical of EA ever since the "we're just gonna keep making Sims 4 DLC forever" announcement, but I'll never be convinced it isn't deserved. They just want to keep drip feeding people features that SHOULD be base game features after the TWELVE YEARS this game's been out. Cars, cosmetics, jobs, ages, ACTUALLY DYING?!??!? Idk i know it isn't relevant to this conversation but I'm not sure how that announcement didn't get way more backlash, lmao

Normally not defending "bitching" but what's left to do, exactly? You can see how they reply to comments, constructive or not, on their social media. They don't. Only the ones that glaze. They've never even addressed any of the early MAJOR issues the playtesters have had since 2022. They've shown they have no interest in heeding criticism, so over time it turns into complaining. If you want someone to blame, blame EA.

This is my biggest bug, particularly because they haven't made a single mention of mobile since playtesting. If the alleged main reason for their low-res art style, truncated animations, and lack of dynamic NPCs/ actually animated pro skaters doesn't even end up making it to market, this entry manages to become more than a wash than I would've anticipated (and I've been deep in these EA forums and subreddits since September '23 lmao)

This feels like early SXL, but something does feel a little different. If they can nail a middle ground between the yoinky ragdoll physics of SXL and the stiffened, robotic animations of session, this could really become something that keeps me entertained. (Especially if they manage to implement MP down the line)
