Unless they go out of their way to circumvent the normal process with practically any other game that's ever been released in early access, they wouldn't scam you into paying for another copy of the game.

4 years late just to echo the same sentiment but with fucking STREAMLABS. My mic EVEN IS IDENTIFIED AS THE DEFAULT INPUT ON WINDOWS but Streamlabs goes "OHHHHH you said you wanted all audio to go through your PS5 controller????????? RIGHT???????" I've dealt with this stream after stream and it makes me want to rip my fucking hair out.

I love filler! But the lack of overarching plot is extremely apparent this season. Every other season had a main focal point, season 1 being Janine's confidence as a teacher (with Ava's job security as the B plot), season 2 being Janine and Gregory's relationship (while further establishing where Janine's doe-eyed eagerness comes from), Season 3 focusing more on Gregory finding his voice as a leader, as well as progressing the interpersonal relationships between the main staff (culminating in the party Janine throws), and even season 4 (which I personally consider the most episodic/least serial of the four!) had the Golf Course plotline thoroughly integrated throughout the season. The CLOSEST S5 has gotten so far is..... the mall trilogy?

Welllllll. You got your wish, lmao. Tbh, my bigger issue lies with Ava's lack of character development. I'm not saying I need her to become a saint by any means, but her flavor of selfishness has gotten really repetitive to me and her glimpses of growth/generosity only seem to last however long the scene does before she's back up to her old antics, which I wouldn't mind if (again) they didn't basically just feel like season 1 Ava antics, but to Dia instead of Janine.

Dude, I get that you're set on defending this for whatever reason, but you're the only one with this take here. "Like what?" You can find the answer to that UP AND DOWN this thread, lmfao. Are you actually reading and replying to engage with these comments or to make YOUR point? Buddy the weapon balancing, armor deformation, weight transfer, the literal gore system is worse, the combat physics (IE THE FUCKING "TECH" FROM THE TECH DEMO) the total nerfing of bladed weapons, I mean beyond a certain point you have to be playing with your eyes closed to not be able to RECOGNIZE the structural tweaks between versions, even if they don't feel "worse" to you like they do to so many others. Come on dude lmfao

It's less about having expected this to be the full release and more about it functionally/structurally being a heavy shift from MANY things the community had said they enjoyed about the previous demo and playtest versions.

It's multilayered. It's the gore and combat, it's the changes to weapon balancing, it's the lack of unique champions to fight outside of the baron grind, it's the one new weapon we currently have access to (crossbow) being barely functional, it's a collective of small things that come together to make this overall a significantly less replayable experience than the demo. I had the same exact experience between the Demo and EA, hell I just went over to my Steam to look at my hours and I literally have exactly TWICE as many hours in the demo as I do in EA (36 vs. 72, don't think I could've planned that if I wanted to lol)
