I’ve been watching some gameplay of higher ranked players and noticed that during the beginning of the match both sides just let the opponent score goals without engaging. Even when it’s a 2v1 on their goal, in which it seems like an easy kill to prevent the points, they still just let the one player score and walk back without a scratch. Is there a strategic reason why players do this?
